About Katie Haire
Katie Haire is an artist and educator, originally from New England. She graduated from The University of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration and a Master’s Degree in Art Education (MAT). She currently teaches drawing and painting at the Highschool for Creative and Performing Arts and sometimes instructs classes at The University of the Arts in portfolio development and painting.
A musician as well as visual artist, Katie can be found playing guitar or piano in her free time. She currently lives in South Philadelphia with her two cats, Jinx and Butters. She loves black pens, rainbows, and Gritty.
