Hello! Great news! I have been hired to teach art at a new school. Really looking forward to the new experience. I teach high school, so behavior and daily grades are important. Here is a nice compact way for me to give every student a daily score (in my class 0-5). This year I added a tally every week on the left side. 2012 was the first time I did this, it worked really well. It's compact, organized, and students like to see their charts. It came in very handy when showing students bouts of skipping class, how it had affected their grades, and especially talking to parents. Here is the 2012-13 model (with dates filled in).
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS ONE. THIS IS THE OLD ONE!
Here is this year's model. The following one is BLANK so it can be used every year and for ANY school district. Download the Blank school year behavior chart PDF Here: BehaviorChart_forDL
As you can see, the top blank box is for the date, the bottom box stays blank until you fill it in with your daily grade. I suppose these calendars could have many other uses too, such as "did you work out today?" or "did you practice writing/guitar/spanish today?" So, in a way, they are personal goal calendars too. What other uses can you think of for them?
